Realize

I met you just a while ago
From here I don't know where to go
None of this makes any sense
Around my heart I built a fence
That now just doesn't stand as strong
Now that you have come along
And found a way to break the walls

You discovered how to stop my tears
How to forget my former years
When I dealt with a broken heart
From others who tore it apart
But now that pain is in the past
Now that I've found what will last
A feeling which will remain true
And all the times I'll share with you
The memories that I'll cherish forever
Of every moment we spent together
Where you liked me for being myself
You wanted me and no one else
I was the only girl you wanted to see
And all this time you've cared for me
I know it when I look in your eyes
You truly make me realize
That ever being away from you
Is the last thing I want to do.
