Is It Wrong to Say
“I Love You”?
By: R. A. Cvetich
Is it wrong for us to be apart?
Or wrong for you to steal my heart?
Is it wrong that my heart skips a beat?
Or that you sweep me off my feet?
Is it wrong for you to understand?
Or wrong for you to take my hand?
Is it wrong to want you every day?
Is it wrong for me to feel this way?
CHORUS
Is it wrong to say “I love you”
Even if I mean it?
Though I said I never would
Until the day I’d seen it:
The boy who changed my life
And made all my dreams come true
So, in light of this
Is it wrong to say “I love you?”
Is it wrong to love the day you found me?
Or wish your arms were wrapped around me?
Is it wrong to wish that you were here?
Or when you’re gone to feel the tears?
Is it wrong to gaze into those eyes
That make me want to compromise?
Is it wrong to be desperate for you?
Is it wrong to feel the way I do?
Repeat CHORUS
Bridge
Is it wrong to feel like this?
Or melt into your tender kiss?
Is it wrong to need your touch?
Or long to feel you close so much?
Is it wrong to admit the truth?
That I love you…I love you
It ain’t wrong to say “I love you”
Because I really mean it
Although I said I wouldn’t
But baby, now I’ve seen it:
The boy who changed my life
And makes all my dreams come true
So, in light of this
I say, “Baby, I love you”
