I am missing you already
My heart is feeling oh so heavy
Waiting here for your return
As these tears cause my eyes to burn
Longing just to hold you near
Praying, wishing you were here
Without you, I just can’t live on
I miss you so when you are gone
Without you my heart finds no rest
Each moment alone is meaningless
Oh, what I'd do to feel your touch
I need to feel you close so much
To wipe away these tears I cry
I wish we’d never said goodbye
I wish I could take back the day
That I watched you just walk away
’Cause there’s nothing I wouldn’t do
To somehow be there beside you
To see your smile, hear your laugh
Because you are my better half
And when you left, I know it’s true:
The best part of me left with you
Every day torments my soul
When I don’t have your hand to hold
And all my thoughts and dreams you haunt
To have you here, that’s all I want
I’d give everything to back then
Just to be with you again.
